Performances, concerts, and performing arts on the Aubrac plateau
Le Grand Rendez-Vous is a festival created by the association La Rosée du Matin - A.U.B.R.A.C. (Abri d'Utopies Baroudeuses Rurales Artistiques et Culturelles), founded in April 2023 in Nasbinals. This venue for performances and encounters, nestled on the Aubrac plateau, aims to offer general interest artistic and cultural dynamism in this remarkable rural territory.
Le Grand Rendez-Vous takes place over a weekend at the end of June, taking advantage of the long summer days and the exceptional light of the Aubrac plateau. The program combines free outdoor circus and street art performances with ticketed indoor concerts. This dual offering allows it to reach a wide audience, from families to music lovers, from locals to passing tourists.
Each edition of the festival brings together artists from diverse backgrounds. The program features contemporary circus, street arts, and live music, with offerings ranging from festive brass bands to more intimate concerts. The invited companies present itinerant shows, acrobatic performances, and original creations designed for the natural space of Aubrac.
The 2025 edition notably hosted Alfredo Buendía y Los Picaflores, the Association des Clous, Bom O'Cœur, the Cie Carnage Productions, Deadwood, and the Cie Monsieur le Directeur, offering a varied panorama of contemporary performing arts.
True to the spirit of Aubrac, the festival highlights local products and regional gastronomy. Festival-goers can enjoy Aubrac specialties — aligot, Aubrac beef, Laguiole cheeses — accompanied by local drinks, in a friendly and rustic atmosphere. The producers' market and food stalls contribute to making Le Grand Rendez-Vous a moment of gourmet discovery as much as an artistic one.
Supported by a team of enthusiasts united around the association La Rosée du Matin, the festival is part of a cultural revitalization initiative for the Aubrac plateau. By offering quality events in a territory far from major urban centers, Le Grand Rendez-Vous contributes to the tourist and cultural appeal of Nasbinals and the entire Aubrac Regional Natural Park.
The 2nd edition of Le Grand Rendez-Vous takes place on June 26, 27 and 28, 2026 at La Rosée du Matin, in Nasbinals, on the Aubrac plateau. The program includes: free acrobatic theatre and street arts during the day, and indoor concerts in the evening (noise rock, committed electro, traditional music and techno). A festive and friendly weekend combining live performance, music and local gastronomy, organized by the La Rosée du Matin association.
For its second edition, the Le Grand Rendez-Vous festival returns to La Rosée du Matin, in Nasbinals, for three days of shows and concerts in the heart of the Aubrac plateau. Organized by the La Rosée du Matin (A.U.B.R.A.C.) association, it offers a two-tiered program: free-access circus and street art shows (hat participation) during the day, and paid indoor concerts in the evening.
Friday, June 26 opens with Backstage, an acrobatic theatre performance by Cie La Main S'Affaire with free access at La Rosée du Matin, followed in the evening by paid concerts by Ghost Rider (noise rock), Shahzen (trad, bass music & techno) and Skfit (tech-house, techno).
Saturday, June 27 unfolds in the village and at La Rosée du Matin with several free offerings — D'Amour et d'Amitié (street theatre, Cie Vraiment Super), Kabinet (clown, Les Humains Gauches) and Lokk&Zarn (song and wild poetry, wandering performance) — followed by paid concerts in the evening with Planète Boum Boum (festive and committed electro) and a DJ set by MC Danse pour le Climat b2b Remremx (eurodance, hip-hop, UK garage).
Sunday, June 28 closes the festival; part of the program remains to be announced as of this verification date.
True to the spirit of the plateau, the festival highlights local products: a local refreshment bar, food stalls and Aubrac specialties to enjoy on site, in a rustic and friendly atmosphere. The village of Nasbinals (restaurants, bakery, grocery stores, bars) completes the offer.
Part of the program to be announced ("soon to be announced" on the official website as of the verification date).
