Le Souffle de Cristal supports the association “Les Amis de Charles” which fights against Charcot’s disease. A corporate challenge rewards the most represented companies.
Le Souffle de Cristal is the major sporting event of Baccarat, an emblematic city of crystal art in Lorraine. Organized every year in September by the Municipal Sports Office, this running event attracts hundreds of participants of all ages and levels through the streets and natural paths of the city.
Le Souffle de Cristal offers several race formats adapted to each profile:
The courses follow routes combining urban and natural settings, offering participants a sporting discovery of the city and its green environment.
Beyond the sporting dimension, Le Souffle de Cristal carries a strong solidarity commitment. The event supports the association “Les Amis de Charles”, which fights against Charcot’s disease (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). A portion of the registration fees is donated to the association, making every stride a gesture of solidarity.
Le Souffle de Cristal also offers a corporate challenge that rewards the companies with the most participants at the event. This collective dimension encourages employee participation and strengthens the links between the local economy and the sporting event.
The event draws its name from Baccarat's crystal tradition, whose factory founded in 1764 is world-famous. Running through the streets of Baccarat also means discovering the heritage of this city with a rich industrial and artisanal past, between the Saint-Rémy church with its crystal stained glass windows and the Crystal Museum.
Le Souffle de Cristal 2026 will be held in September 2026 in Baccarat. 5 km and 10 km races, a popular walk, and children's races are on the program.
