The 57th edition of the Fête du Pâté Lorrain takes place on Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13, 2026, in the town center of Baccarat. The program includes DJ TOF and fireworks by the Meurthe river on Saturday night, followed by a flea market from 6:00 AM, a giant pâté lorrain parade at 11:00 AM, the For Dad orchestra, and the eating contest on Sunday. Free admission.
2026 Edition: September 12 and 13
The Fête du Pâté Lorrain returns to Baccarat for its 57th edition on Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13, 2026. Organized by the Festival Committee in partnership with the City of Baccarat, the event kicks off on Saturday with the arrival of various gastronomic brotherhoods and continues on Sunday throughout the town center.
Saturday, September 12: DJ TOF and fireworks
Starting at 5:00 PM, DJ TOF sets the mood to launch the festivities. Under the bridge, the dance floor, refreshment bar, and Festival Committee food stands will welcome the public until 11:00 PM, with Baccarat pâté lorrain available for purchase. At 9:30 PM, the highlight of the evening arrives: the grand fireworks display over the Meurthe river, courtesy of the Festival Committee.
Sunday, September 13: Flea market, giant pâté, and contest
From 6:00 AM, the streets of Baccarat come alive with the flea market, artisans, and exhibitors for the entire day. At 11:00 AM, don't miss the traditional musical parade of the giant pâté lorrain, prepared by the Payeur bakery, through the town center. This is followed by a tasting under the bridge and a complimentary reception hosted by the municipality at noon. The afternoon continues in a festive atmosphere from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM with the For Dad orchestra and their dance floor, leading up to the pâté eating contest at 5:00 PM: the record to beat is 15 pâtés in 10 minutes. Access to the festival is free on both days, including the flea market and the parade. Only food, drinks, and the purchase of pâté lorrain are subject to charge.
