About Les Films à Roulettes Festival

For the past ten years, the Les Films à Roulettes festival has brought the Prieuré des Nobis in Montreuil-Bellay to life during a weekend in early September. The association behind the event, which also hosts free outdoor screenings and school workshops throughout the year, transforms the site into a vibrant cinema village. The program features indoor and outdoor film screenings, live performances, and hands-on workshops centered on animation. Each edition explores a specific theme that guides the selection of short and feature films, ranging from family-friendly cinema to documentaries and auteur films.
