The essential meeting place for French-language song
Created in 1985, Les Francofolies de La Rochelle has become the unmissable event for French-language song. Every July, the festival transforms La Rochelle into the capital of music with over 150,000 festival-goers and an exceptional lineup bringing together the biggest stars and emerging talents.
The festival offers a varied program that mixes pop, rock, rap, electro, and French chanson. Free stages allow everyone to enjoy open-air concerts, while ticketed concerts on the Scène Jean-Louis Foulquier host international headliners.
Les Francofolies take over the entire city with concerts in the iconic venues of La Rochelle: the Old Port, parks, and historic squares. The festive and friendly atmosphere is what makes the festival renowned.
Les Francofolies 2026 promises a memorable edition with a prestigious lineup: Orelsan, Gims, Aya Nakamura, Mika, Niska and many other artists will perform on the Scène Jean-Louis Foulquier and the free stages of La Rochelle.
