Les Gaminades

The young audience event in South Charente

For over twenty years, Les Gaminades has been the unmissable event for families in South Charente. Every year, on the first weekend of June, the Montmoreau town hall park transforms into a huge playground and discovery area for children and their parents.

A professional artistic program

The festival hosts about ten professional companies performing on four stages spread across the park. Shows of circus, theater, puppets, storytelling, and music follow one another from Saturday afternoon to Sunday evening. The program is designed to awaken the curiosity of the youngest while enchanting adults.

Workshops, games, and activities

Around the shows, a village of giant wooden games and creative workshops (painting, photography, jewelry making, marble circuit creation) keep children entertained between performances. Pony rides and many other activities punctuate the weekend. A catering area with a refreshment bar and a reception area for toddlers are available on site.
