About Les Muses Festival
The Les Muses festival brings together authors, illustrators, and craftspeople at Domaine Parenthèse, located in the Orléans forest in Chambon-la-Forêt. Founded by the association Ce qui nous lie—which has been supporting author-artists since 2021—the event is presided over by Samantha Bailly, former president of the Charte des auteurs et illustrateurs jeunesse. The festival features a blend of literary encounters, comics, manga, and an artisanal market, all with a strong commitment to ensuring fair compensation for the invited artists.
Les Muses Festival — edition 2026
This inaugural edition takes place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at the Domaine Parenthèse. The free afternoon session features book signings, workshops, and an artisan market with authors such as Mona Chollet, Salomé Saqué, Benoît Peeters, Boulet, Julien Neel, and Miya. The evening program, which requires a ticket, includes live music and light installations.
