The autumn meeting for contemporary music in Saint-Lô
Since 2009, Les Rendez-vous Soniques has established itself as the essential meeting for contemporary music in the Manche region every autumn. Organized by Le Normandy, a venue labeled Scène de Musiques Actuelles (SMAC) since 2008, the festival benefits from the expertise and network of a major player in music dissemination in Normandy.
The strength of Les Rendez-vous Soniques lies in its programming, which rejects genre boundaries. Rock, electro, hip-hop, pop, French chanson, experimental music, post-punk, indie: the festival offers a complete panorama of current music, mixing confirmed headliners with emerging artists to discover.
Le Normandy, as a SMAC, has the mission to support developing artists and foster the emergence of new talent. The festival is thus a space for discovery and promotion of contemporary music, offering a showcase for local, regional, and national artists.
Le Normandy offers a season of about forty concerts and supports local and regional artists throughout the year. The venue, located at Place du Champ de Mars in Saint-Lô, is a reference point for contemporary music in Normandy, offering professional technical and acoustic conditions.
Les Rendez-vous Soniques is part of the cultural dynamic of the Saint-Lô agglomeration and the Manche department. The festival collaborates with local cultural players and contributes to the region's cultural life during the autumn period, which traditionally has fewer cultural events.
Far from the summer buzz of large outdoor festivals, Les Rendez-vous Soniques offers an intimate and warm musical experience in the venues of Saint-Lô. The autumn atmosphere, conducive to listening and concentration, allows the audience to experience intense musical moments in optimal acoustic conditions.
The 17th edition of Les Rendez-vous Soniques takes place from November 10 to 14, 2026, in Saint-Lô. Organized by Le Normandy, Scène de Musiques Actuelles (SMAC) de la Manche, the festival offers an eclectic program of contemporary music, mixing confirmed headliners and emerging artists, notably featuring Benjamin Biolay, Bertrand Belin, Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine, and Suzane.
Les Rendez-vous Soniques return for their 17th edition from November 10 to 14, 2026, in Saint-Lô. For this autumn edition, several major evenings are scheduled at the Parc des Expositions de Saint-Lô, which hosts the headliners, in addition to the concerts offered at Le Normandy.
The festival brings together established artists and young talents from the French scene. Among the announced headliners: Benjamin Biolay and Bertrand Belin (November 11), Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine as part of his farewell tour (November 12, sold out), as well as Suzane, Marguerite, and Sam Sauvage (November 13).
Other artists will be announced throughout spring and summer 2026, in line with the SMAC's mission to highlight the discovery of the new French scene alongside established artists.
