La Route du Rock - Winter Collection
La Route du Rock - Winter Collection is a contemporary music festival that takes place annually in late winter in Saint-Malo, Ille-et-Vilaine (Brittany), with additional dates in Rennes. It is the winter counterpart to the legendary summer Route du Rock, organized since 1991 by the Rock Tympans association.
The event sets up at La Nouvelle Vague in Saint-Malo, a reference venue for standing concerts, and extends to other locations in the urban area: L'Antipode and the cinema L'Arvor in Rennes, as well as La Grande Passerelle in Saint-Malo for meetings and conferences.
A Cutting-Edge Program
Each edition brings together established artists from the international independent scene and emerging young bands. Over the years, the Winter Collection has become an essential event at the start of the winter season for lovers of demanding rock, pop, and electronic music.

The 20th edition of La Route du Rock - Collection Hiver takes place from March 4th to 7th, 2026, between Rennes and Saint-Malo. On the menu for this anniversary: Stereolab, Jehnny Beth, dälek, Heavy Lungs, and about ten other artists from the independent scene, with the two main evenings at La Nouvelle Vague in Saint-Malo on March 6th and 7th.

For its 20th anniversary, La Route du Rock's Collection Hiver takes over Rennes and Saint-Malo from March 4th to 7th, 2026. The program blends headliners from the international independent scene (Stereolab, Jehnny Beth, dälek) and promising discoveries, on the stages of L'Antipode in Rennes and La Nouvelle Vague in Saint-Malo, complemented by a screening at L'Arvor cinema and a free conference at La Grande Passerelle.
