Les Saints Sauveurs du Rock returns for its 18th edition on Saturday, October 24, 2026, starting at 7:00 PM at the Espace culturel in Saint-Sauveur-Villages, nestled in the heart of the Manche countryside. Four bands will share the stage for this unique evening: headliners Ultra Vomit, Rouen-based Doorshan, the rock-punk-rap fusion of Flip Your Brain, and local singer Ella Gunn. Tickets start at 30 euros and are available at local outlets as well as at the door on the night of the event.

An 18th edition on Saturday, October 24, 2026

The 2SDR festival returns to the Espace culturel in Saint-Sauveur-Villages (Saint-Sauveur-Lendelin), in the Manche department, on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 7:00 PM. Staying true to its roots, the association is hosting a unique indoor event where four bands will perform back-to-back without a break. Following a successful 17th edition in 2025, this year's lineup continues an adventure that began in 2009, when a few friends decided to bring three local bands together on one stage.

Ultra Vomit as headliners

Ultra Vomit takes the top spot for 2026. Formed in Nantes in 2000, the quartet has established itself as the face of French parody metal, blending Top 50 hits with a heavy metal twist and absurd lyrics inspired by cartoons and pop culture. Their album Panzer Surprise! was certified gold in 2021—a first for a French metal band since 1999—and the group released Ultra Vomit et le Pouvoir de la Puissance in 2024. Their headlining slot follows in the footsteps of previous acts like Trust, Tagada Jones, Fatals Picards, and Ko Ko Mo who have graced the Saint-Sauveur stage.

Doorshan, Flip Your Brain, and Ella Gunn

Doorshan will also be performing: born in late 2010 in Rouen, the band blends rock, electro, pop, and hip-hop, featuring two vocalists and samples layered over a powerful rhythm section. Flip Your Brain brings a mix of rock, pop, punk, and rap in a set tailor-made for the stage. The evening also highlights the local scene with Ella Gunn, a singer and guitarist from the Manche region. After starting in a punk rock band, she has been pursuing a solo career under her own label since 2020 and is currently preparing her third album for 2026.

An intimate, family-friendly indoor event

The indoor format remains the hallmark of 2SDR: controlled acoustics, a human-scale capacity, and a concert atmosphere rather than a massive outdoor festival. On-site, food stalls, bars, and a dining area will be available to the public throughout the evening. The festival uses 1-euro deposit eco-cups and offers its own merchandise alongside that of the performing bands. A wristband is provided at the entrance to every ticket holder; broken or lost wristbands will not be replaced.

Les Kids du Rock for the little ones

Alongside the main event, the association hosts its youth-focused program, Les Kids du Rock: a concert reserved for children under 10, held on Saturday starting at 1:30 PM at the Saint-Sauveur-Villages gymnasium, featuring drinks, snacks, face painting, and giant games. The show for 2026 has not yet been announced by the organizers.

Les Saints Sauveurs du Rock: Rock at the Heart of the Manche Countryside

Created in 2009 by Julien Lavalo, the festival Les Saints Sauveurs du Rock — abbreviated 2SDR — was born from a simple idea: to bring together three bands from the small town of Saint-Sauveur-Lendelin, in the heart of the Manche countryside. What was initially just an evening among friends has become a recognized rock festival that attracts hundreds of spectators every autumn to the Espace culturel La Presse de la Manche - Louis Costel.

Headliners

Over the years, Les Saints Sauveurs du Rock has hosted nationally and internationally renowned bands: Trust, Elmer Food Beat, Tagada Jones, Les Fatals Picards, Ko Ko Mo, La Ruda, Meteor, and many others. The programming mixes rock, punk, alternative rock, and French rock chanson, offering an eclectic panorama of the French and international rock scene.

An Indoor, Family-Friendly, and Convivial Festival

Unlike many summer outdoor festivals, Les Saints Sauveurs du Rock is held indoors in the autumn at the Espace culturel Louis Costel in Saint-Sauveur-Lendelin (a town now part of Saint-Sauveur-Villages). The indoor format guarantees optimal sound quality and an intimate atmosphere conducive to rock concerts. The festival aims to be family-friendly, with activities for children through the « Kids du Rock » organized alongside the main festival.

Steady Growth

Since its creation, the festival has grown steadily. The 10th-anniversary edition in 2018 marked a turning point by offering two evenings instead of one for the first time, attracting 2,500 spectators. The 2020 edition was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but the festival bounced back stronger in the following years, confirming its place in the cultural landscape of Manche.
