2027
About Marathon du Mont-Saint-Michel
Established in 1998, the Mont-Saint-Michel Marathon covers the 42.195 km route from Cancale to Mont-Saint-Michel. After its last edition in 2019, the Établissement public du Mont-Saint-Michel has entrusted the event's revival to the Playground agency for 2027, 2028, and 2029. The event now combines road running and trail running across Brittany and Normandy, featuring a marathon, half-marathon, 10 km race, and two trail runs.
Marathon du Mont-Saint-Michel — edition 2027
The Mont-Saint-Michel Marathon returns on March 20 and 21, 2027, after an eight-year hiatus. Organized by Playground for the Établissement public du Mont-Saint-Michel, the event features five races over two days between Brittany and Normandy: a marathon, a half-marathon, a 10 km run, and two trail runs.
The last edition took place in 2019. The Établissement public du Mont-Saint-Michel has entrusted the agency Playground with the organization of the 2027, 2028, and 2029 editions. The marathon and trail runs are limited to 1,000 entries each, allocated via a lottery system from October 13 to November 3, 2026. Registration for the 10 km and half-marathon is direct, subject to availability. €1 from each registration fee will go toward a fund for coastal and biodiversity preservation.

The Établissement public du Mont-Saint-Michel and the Playground agency have announced its return for autumn 2026. Playground is designing and organizing the 2027, 2028, and 2029 editions, presenting a more sustainable version featuring plastic-free aid stations and local products from the bay.
