Performing arts festival on Île-de-Bréhat
Created in 2021 by the association Les Scènes de Bréhat, the festival is a summer event dedicated to performing arts on the Île-de-Bréhat, a jewel of the Bréhat archipelago off the coast of Pointe de l'Arcouest. Every early July, for five days, the festival transforms the island's Citadel into an open-air cultural venue, offering about fifteen shows in various genres.
The Les Scènes de Bréhat festival features:
The program aims for artistic excellence in an intimate format, with a capacity of about 550 seats on bleachers set up in the Citadel's courtyard, equipped with professional sound and lighting.
The Île-de-Bréhat, nicknamed the island of flowers for its mild climate and Mediterranean vegetation, offers a magical setting for the festival. Spectators can extend the experience thanks to the additional evening crossings organized by the Vedettes de Bréhat, allowing them to enjoy the evening shows. A food village welcomes festival-goers on site.
The Les Scènes de Bréhat festival returns for its 6th edition from July 3 to 7, 2026. About twenty shows will be offered over five days in the exceptional setting of the Bréhat Citadel: theater, contemporary music, circus, classical music, storytelling, and dance.
