Since 1997, the Les Vendredis de l'Été festival has enlivened the thermal resort of Bagnoles-de-l'Orne Normandie throughout the summer with free street art shows. Every Friday evening in July and August, musicians, actors, acrobats, and street artists take over the heart of the resort for unusual, funny, and moving performances.

A festival all summer long

From early July to late August, Les Vendredis de l'Été offers a different show every Friday, providing a rich and varied program throughout the summer season. Performances begin precisely at 9 PM, outdoors, to enjoy the mild summer evenings.

Street arts in all their forms

The program embraces all disciplines of street arts: street theatre, contemporary circus, mime, dance, comedy, acrobatics, and wandering performances. Each Friday promises an unusual, funny, and moving journey, suitable for all audiences and all generations. Many shows come from the RenAR network, the Norman street arts circuit supported by the Région Normandie.

The shows unfold in the most emblematic places of Bagnoles-de-l'Orne: the rue des Casinos, the parc du Château, the jardins du lac, the square de Contades, and the Communs du château.
