The friendly music festival of Bruyères
Created in 2015 by a collective of music enthusiasts, the Les Vieilles Branches association set out to organize, develop, and sustain a music festival in Bruyères, in the Vosges. The stated goal is clear: to showcase the Vosges department and revitalize this rural area through music and conviviality.
The first edition of the festival took place on May 6, 2017, at the Salle polyvalente in Bruyères. For this debut, the organizers opted for Maëva Gillot, discovered on the show The Voice Kids, as the opening act, followed by the group Non-Homologué, a famous cover band of Jean-Jacques Goldman. The success of this evening confirmed the appetite of the Vosges public for quality musical events.
Building on this initial success, the second edition took on a new dimension on June 2, 2018, with an open-air concert featuring a bold program. Among the artists present were: Jay Style, France's number one Daft Punk impersonator, Jack Simard, and the group Last Time, offering a mix of musical genres to satisfy all audiences.
Les Vieilles Branches stands out for its friendly and accessible atmosphere. The festival emphasizes proximity between artists and the public, with on-site food and drink services to extend the evenings in good spirits. Supported by dedicated volunteers, the event embodies the associative spirit of the Vosges and contributes to the cultural life of Bruyères and its surroundings.
Bruyères, nestled in the heart of the Vosges, offers an exceptional natural setting to host a festival. Surrounded by forests and hills, the town is an ideal starting point for exploring the riches of the Vosges massif. The Les Vieilles Branches festival contributes to the cultural influence of this region and attracts a loyal audience from all over the department each year.
Les Vieilles Branches is preparing its return to Bruyères for another evening of music and conviviality in the heart of the Vosges. The program will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
