Popular and family music festival in Haute-Loire
The Les Brumes festival is a popular and family-oriented music event organized on the first weekend of July in Sainte-Sigolène, at the Complexe sportif du Pinet, in Haute-Loire. Created in 2014 by the association Les Brumes, founded in October 2013 and entirely composed of volunteers, the festival offers an intergenerational and eclectic program mixing French variety, pop, rock, and reggae. Over its eleven editions, it has hosted renowned artists such as Christophe Maé, Obispo, Kendji Girac, Jenifer, Julien Clerc, Bénabar, Terrenoire, Kyo, Matmatah, and Naâman, attracting several thousand festival-goers in a pleasant natural setting, in the heart of a stadium surrounded by pine trees.
Since 2014, the Les Brumes festival has animated the town of Sainte-Sigolène, in Haute-Loire, every first weekend of July. Located at the Complexe sportif du Pinet, in a green stadium setting surrounded by pine trees, this musical event has established itself as a must-attend summer event in Jeune Loire.
The Les Brumes association, created in October 2013, is the driving force behind this festival, which is entirely run by volunteers. About fifteen active members work throughout the year on the organization, joined by around 90 volunteers on the day. This collective energy and selfless commitment are the strength and authenticity of the event, offering affordable prices (around 28 to 30 euros per evening) in a festive and friendly spirit.
The festival stands out for its varied programming, designed to bring together all generations. Over the years, Les Brumes has hosted headliners from the French scene: Christophe Maé, Obispo, Kendji Girac, Jenifer, Julien Clerc, Bénabar, Terrenoire, but also iconic groups like Kyo, Matmatah, Sinsemilia, and Danakil. The evenings are often themed, alternating variety and French chanson on Saturday with reggae or rock vibes on Friday.
Each evening generally features four bands or artists, and free activities open to all are held on Saturday afternoons around the festival site.
Located in Sainte-Sigolène, a dynamic town in Jeune Loire, Haute-Loire, the festival contributes to the cultural and economic influence of the region. Accessible from exit 39 of the RN88, near the stations of Bas-en-Basset/Monistrol, Firminy, and Saint-Étienne, the site benefits from two large free parking areas. With a capacity of approximately 3,000 to 5,000 festival-goers, Les Brumes offers a human-scale, warm, and authentically Auvergne experience.
The 2026 edition of the Les Brumes festival in Sainte-Sigolène is yet to be confirmed. The association is studying the conditions for resuming the festival at the Complexe sportif du Pinet.

The festival takes place at the Complexe sportif du Pinet, Route du Pinet, 43600 Sainte-Sigolène. The site opens at 5:30 PM and closes at 1:45 AM.
