The festival of games and creation in Hauts-de-France
LudiNord is the leading gaming event in the Hauts-de-France region. Organized annually at the Fort de Mons-en-Barœul by the Fédéjeux association, this festival of games and creation welcomes over 12,000 visitors over 5,000 m². For two days, the public discovers and tests the year's new games, meets game authors, participates in role-playing games, and immerses themselves in a recreated medieval village. The LudiNuit, a night session on Saturday evening, extends the experience until dawn.
Since its creation, LudiNord has established itself as the premier gaming event in the Hauts-de-France region. Organized by the Fédéjeux association, this annual festival transforms the Fort de Mons-en-Barœul into a vast playground of over 5,000 m², welcoming families, enthusiasts, and the curious to discover the world of games in all its forms.
The festival offers a dense program spread over two full days. Visitors can test the year's new games before their official release, meet the authors and illustrators who design these games, and participate in numerous workshops and activities.
At the heart of LudiNord, dozens of tables allow visitors to discover and try out the latest board games. Publishers and independent creators also present their prototypes, offering the public an exclusive glimpse of the games of tomorrow. It's a unique opportunity to interact directly with designers and provide feedback on mechanics currently in development.
LudiNord gives pride of place to role-playing games with sessions led by experienced game masters. A recreated medieval village immerses visitors in an era atmosphere, with costumes, decorations, and themed activities. Live-action role-playing enthusiasts will also find their happiness with interactive scenarios.
A highlight of the festival, the LudiNuit on Saturday evening extends the gaming experience from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM. In a unique nocturnal atmosphere, the most passionate gamers play games continuously in a friendly and festive atmosphere, far from the usual time constraints.
The Fort de Mons, a former 19th-century military fortification, offers an atypical and spacious setting for the festival. Its vast vaulted halls and outdoor spaces are perfectly suited for organizing an event of this scale, blending historical heritage with contemporary gaming culture.
LudiNord aims to be a family-friendly and accessible event. Admission is priced at €4 per day, free for children under 10 years old. Dedicated areas for younger children allow families to fully enjoy the festival, with games suitable for all ages.
