Festival in Ille-et-Vilaine
The Rennes Pride March (Rennes Pride) is an activist and festive event held annually in Rennes, Ille-et-Vilaine (Brittany). It celebrates the diversity and rights of LGBTQIA+ people and brings together several thousand participants in the city center of Rennes.
The day begins with an associative village on the Esplanade Charles-de-Gaulle, the gathering point, featuring association stands, a sexual health and prevention area, a queer market, food trucks, and a water bar. After the activist speeches, the procession sets off through the streets of Rennes in the early afternoon, before returning to the esplanade. The evening continues with an "After Pride" in the bars, followed by the "Noz Pride," a festive evening with a drag show and DJ set.
The event is coordinated by Iskis, the LGBTI+ center of Rennes, in conjunction with a collective of local associations. To find out the slogan, route, and detailed program for the upcoming edition, consult the organizer's official website and social media channels.
