About Fête de l'Abricot du Barroux
The Barroux Apricot Producers' Market is an unmissable gourmet event of the Provençal summer. Every July 14th, the perched village of Le Barroux, at the foot of Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail, celebrates the Ventoux apricot through a market of local producers and artisanal products.
This local festival perpetuates the memory of the great apricot market that enlivened Le Barroux and its surroundings from the 1930s to the 1970s, when confectioners, jam makers, and wholesalers came to source directly from the fruit growers of the Ventoux foothills to supply markets throughout France, all the way to Paris.
The Barroux Apricot Producers' Market
In the heart of summer, in Saint Denis and La Barbière squares, the fruit growers of Le Barroux offer their different varieties of apricots picked at maturity, as well as derived products: fruit juices, jams, fruit pastes. Artisans complement the producers' offer with biscuits, candied fruits, and apricot ice creams.
Throughout the day, entertainment and exhibitors punctuate this friendly Provençal market. Refreshments and catering are provided by the association « les Cousettes dou Barrous », and several village restaurants participate in the celebration with special apricot menus.
Access is completely free. The market runs from 9 am to 6 pm.

For its 13th edition, the Apricot Producers' Market returns to Le Barroux on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 9 AM to 6 PM, in Saint Denis and La Barbière squares.
The arboriculturists of Le Barroux offer their different varieties of apricots picked at maturity, as well as their derived products: fruit juices, jams, and fruit pastes. Artisans complement this offer with biscuits, candied fruits, and apricot ice creams.
Exhibitors and entertainment punctuate the day. The refreshment stand and catering are provided by the association « les Cousettes dou Barrous », and the village restaurants participate in the celebration with special apricot menus (La Maison d'Eugène, L'Entre'Potes, Les Géraniums).
Free admission.
