An engaged and sustainable Christmas market

The Roubaix Sustainable Christmas Market stands out for its eco-responsible commitment. Born in 2015, it is fully in line with the "Zero Waste" approach that has made Roubaix famous nationally and internationally. Each year, it takes place on the forecourt of the famous La Piscine museum, offering an exceptional setting between industrial heritage and contemporary creativity.

Exhibitors committed to a responsible Christmas

Nearly 60 exhibitors are selected to offer products that meet strict sustainability criteria: handmade items, creations from recycled or upcycled materials, organic and local products, natural cosmetics, wooden toys, ethical textiles, and artisanal decorations. The market values the know-how of local artisans and encourages more responsible consumption.

Musical and festive entertainment

The market is accompanied by a varied program of entertainment throughout the period. Saturdays are marked by concerts and musical entertainment: Christmas carols, DJ sets, festive blind tests. Santa Claus is present on Sunday afternoons to meet children. Creative workshops around recycling and "Do It Yourself" are offered to raise awareness among young and old about the eco-responsible approach.

A unique setting: the forecourt of La Piscine

The La Piscine museum, housed in a former Art Deco swimming pool from 1932, provides a remarkable setting for the Christmas market. The forecourt offers a friendly, human-scale space conducive to encounters and strolling. Visitors can take the opportunity to discover or rediscover the collections of the André Diligent Museum of Art and Industry.

Ten years of commitment

In 2025, the Roubaix Sustainable Christmas Market celebrated its 10th anniversary, confirming its place as a benchmark for eco-responsible Christmas markets in the Hauts-de-France region. An event that has become essential for all those who wish to combine the Christmas spirit with respect for the environment.
