Set in the enchanting surroundings of Hattonchâtel Castle, a troubadour-style castle perched on the Côtes de Meuse between Metz, Nancy, and Verdun, this market offers an unforgettable immersive experience.
From the moment visitors enter the castle, they are transported to a timeless world. Fantastic creatures inhabit the castle's halls and gardens, while passionate artisans showcase their creations amidst magical lights and medieval decorations. Rebuilt in the early 20th century in a neo-Gothic troubadour style by American patron Miss Belle Skinner, it offers a romantic and enchanting architectural backdrop that perfectly suits the event's fantastic medieval theme.
The association L'antre de Jack is the organizer of this event. Passionate about medieval and fantastic universes, they created this market to offer a unique gathering in the region, where quality craftsmanship and an imaginary world combine to delight both young and old.

The market is open from 10 am to 7 pm on one day (the first Sunday in December).
Completely free admission. Visitors are warmly encouraged to come in costume (medieval or fantasy) to enhance the immersive atmosphere of the event.
Mulled wine, mead, hot chocolate, and other hot drinks are available to warm you up. Food stalls offer medieval specialties and sweet and savory treats.
