2026
About Metz Fair
For eleven days, the Metz International Fair brings together around 550 exhibitors across 25 sectors at the Euro-Métropole de Metz Exhibition Centre. Home improvement, gastronomy, crafts, gardening, and leisure activities are complemented by a themed exhibition, live entertainment, and three late-night events. Established in 1928, the fair welcomed over 155,000 visitors in 2025.
Metz Fair — edition 2026
The 91st edition of the Metz International Fair takes place from September 25 to October 5, 2026, at the Euro-Métropole de Metz Exhibition Center, under the theme "Heading for the Pacific." For eleven days, around 550 exhibitors across 25 sectors (housing, furniture, decoration, household arts, gastronomy, gardens, international crafts) will welcome the public, featuring three late-night events and a 900 m² exhibition in Hall A.
2026 Edition: Heading for the Pacific
For its 91st edition, from September 25 to October 5, 2026, the Metz International Fair dedicates its theme exhibition to the Pacific Islands. Located in Hall A across approximately 900 m², it is divided into five areas: a tropical trail with video sets, a "Pacific Arts and Traditions" space, an Easter Island zone with Moai statue replicas, a lagoon lined with farés, and a flavor hall. The Pacifique France association will host activities focused on crafts, gastronomy, and traditions.
Four Exhibitions
Three other exhibitions will run throughout the eleven days. Pacific Biodiversity, created with the Amnéville Zoo and Aquarium, explores Polynesian fauna, flora, and corals. The Enchanted World of Jean Morette brings together drawings by the Lorraine illustrator (1911-2002), in collaboration with the Metz Municipal Archives and curated by Sandrine Cocca and Francis Kochert. A Treasure of Heritage, designed by the Euro-Métropole de Metz, showcases the heritage of the 46 municipalities in the territory.
550 Exhibitors Across 25 Sectors
Approximately 550 stands occupy 44,000 m² of halls, marquees, and outdoor space, representing over 2,000 brands. Housing and furniture account for 15,000 m². These are joined by themed areas (crafts, wellness, Made in France, Italy) and sectors for practical innovations, shopping, The Armed Forces, Institutions, leisure, and tourism. The 2025 edition recorded over 155,000 visits.
A Revised Layout
The organization has changed for 2026: the main exhibition moves to Hall A, the outdoor area is expanded, a gastronomy marquee now hosts the Italy area and culinary competitions, and a new visitor entrance opens at the back of the Exhibition Center. The fair is also launching its official app, featuring a map, exhibitor list, entertainment schedule, and custom visit paths.
Competitions, Late Nights, and Gala Dinner
On Saturday, October 3 at 5:00 PM, Michel Roth will present the awards for the Crystal Trophy bearing his name (4th edition) and the Mirabelle d'Or (2nd edition). Nos Orchestres ont du Talent returns for a 4th edition with 10 Moselle wind bands, supported by the Moselle Department. Three late-night events extend opening hours until 10:00 PM with concerts and karaoke: Saturday, September 26, Friday, October 2, and Saturday, October 3. A new feature this year is a gala dinner on Friday, September 25, the opening day: the association Les Amis de Michel Roth is offering it for €100 per person, drinks included, featuring a menu by Michel Roth and Matthieu Otto, with proceeds benefiting the DesSeins pour la Vie association.

Every autumn, the Euro-Métropole de Metz Exhibition Centre hosts the fair for eleven days, drawing visitors from Lorraine, Luxembourg, Germany, and Belgium. The 2025 edition saw over 155,000 visits. The venue is located within a catchment area of nearly 3 million people, all within a 40-minute drive.
550 exhibitors, 25 sectors
The FIM brings together around 550 stands across 25 business sectors, spanning over 44,000 m² of indoor halls, marquees, and outdoor space, representing more than 2,000 brands. Categories include home improvement and renovation, furniture and decor, household appliances, gardening, gastronomy and wines, national and international crafts, wellness, mobility, tourism, and leisure.
The themed exhibition
Each edition is built around a major, professionally designed themed exhibition, which serves as one of the fair's highlights. In 2026, it is dedicated to the Pacific Islands and will occupy approximately 900 m² in Hall A.
Entertainment and competitions
Beyond the stands, the FIM hosts several recurring events: the Trophée Cristal Michel Roth and the Mirabelle d'Or, two culinary competitions, and the 'Nos Orchestres ont du Talent' festival, which showcases local Moselle bands with the support of the Moselle Department. Three late-night events extend opening hours until 10 pm, featuring concerts and karaoke, alongside various themed days.
Gastronomy and crafts
Local producers, winemakers, and artisans occupy the gastronomy sector alongside international specialties, while a dedicated marquee houses the Italy pavilion and culinary contests. International crafts have their own dedicated area.
A regional economic powerhouse
The fair is a significant driver for the local hotel, restaurant, and retail sectors in Metz. For exhibitors, it provides access to a cross-border consumer market of several million people.
