Meules Bleues Festival
Contemporary music festival in Cahors, Lot
2026
About Meules Bleues Festival
Every year in early September, the Meules Bleues Festival brings together French pop, rap, and chanson artists on the Labéraudie plain in Cahors. Organized by the Lot of Good Days association, the event adopted this name in 2025, following its long-standing history as "Le Lot en meule bleue." The program spans three evenings across two stages, featuring on-site dining and family-friendly activities.
Meules Bleues Festival — edition 2026
For its sixth edition—the first to be held on the Labéraudie plains—the Meules Bleues Festival brings together Bénabar, Black M, Calema, and Zaz for three nights of music from September 10th to 12th, 2026, featuring a mix of French chanson, rap, and pop. This new riverside venue along the Lot, located near the Weldom store, replaces the Cahors exhibition center, which has been sold to a drone manufacturer.

From "Le Lot en meule bleue" to Meules Bleues Festival
Over its first five editions under its original name, the festival hosted around 200 artists and welcomed over 100,000 spectators before rebranding as the Meules Bleues Festival in 2025. The 2026 edition marks the festival's sixth year.
A new venue by the Lot river
For 2026, the festival is moving from the Cahors exhibition center—now occupied by the drone manufacturer Tekever—to an open-air site on the Labéraudie plain near Pradines, behind the Weldom store. The city of Cahors and the Grand Cahors urban community are funding the site's development.
