About Guitar Festival of
Held every first weekend of June in Montaigut-sur-Save (Haute-Garonne), at the gates of Toulouse, this contemporary music festival is organized by the Guitarensave association, founded in October 2009. Long known as « Guitare en Save », the event became « Sav'à Groover » from 2023, with an expanded program including funk, jazz, afrobeat, and world music.
Montaigut-sur-Save Guitar Festival — now Sav'à Groover
In Montaigut-sur-Save, about thirty kilometers northwest of Toulouse, this musical event enlivens the first weekend of June each year. Created in October 2009, the Guitarensave association first organized the festival under the name « Guitare en Save », before renaming it « Sav'à Groover » in 2023, with the arrival of a new programmer and an opening to a greater diversity of styles: funk, jazz, afrobeat, world music, and shows.
Concerts are mainly held at Salle La Gare and on Place des Fêtes, in the heart of the village, complemented by off-site offerings (cinema screening, musical walk, young audience shows). The event gathers around a thousand spectators and relies on about sixty volunteers.

The 2026 edition of the Montaigut-sur-Save festival — now named Sav'à Groover — takes place from Thursday, June 4 to Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Place des Fêtes and Salle La Gare. The program includes: funk, afrobeat, jazz, Latin fiesta, world music, and shows for all, with an opening night at the cinema.

Four days of concerts, musical experiences, and artistic discoveries blending funk, jazz, afrobeat, Latin fiesta, world music, and shows, for all ages. Concerts mainly take place at Place des Fêtes and Salle La Gare, complemented by off-site offerings (cinema, Salle Fontanilles, nature walk). On-site catering with food trucks.

Practical information — Guitar Festival of
The festival mainly takes place at Salle La Gare and on Place des Fêtes, in the center of Montaigut-sur-Save (31530), with free parking opposite the hall. Some activities take place off-site (L'Entract' cinema in Grenade, Fontanilles hall in Saint-Paul-sur-Save, nature walk at La Camerle).
