About Montgeoffroy Book Festival
Montgeoffroy se livre is a book fair organized every autumn at Château de Montgeoffroy, in Mazé-Milon (Maine-et-Loire), by the association Les Amis de Montgeoffroy. Around fifty national, regional, and local authors meet the public in the castle's reception rooms and outbuildings for signings and discussions about books.
Montgeoffroy Book Festival — edition 2026
The 4th edition of Montgeoffroy se livre will take place on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at the Château de Montgeoffroy in Mazé-Milon. Over 50 authors will be signing books in the castle's reception rooms and outbuildings, with guests including Luana Belmondo, Alessandro Belmondo, and Juliette Tresanini. Admission is €2.50 for visitors aged 18 and over.
2026 Edition
The fair will be inaugurated at 9:45 am and open to the public from 10:00 am, running continuously until 5:00 pm, with the castle closing at 6:00 pm. Authors will be divided into two main areas: novels and thrillers in one, and children's literature and comics in the other. A tea room will be available on-site.
As of mid-August 2026, the author lineup is still being finalized and the conference schedule has not yet been released. The organizers will begin introducing the guest authors on their social media channels starting September 1, 2026.
