The Morvan Oxygen Trail is a trail running and nature race event that takes place every end of June in Château-Chinon, in the heart of the Morvan Regional Natural Park. The event offers several distances (10 km, 14 km, 19 km, 20 km, and 35 km) in solo, duo, or trio, as well as a 15 km night trail. Beyond the race, the event includes side activities such as climbing, mountain biking, Nordic walking, and orienteering on the forest trails of Morvan.

Access

Château-Chinon is located in the center of Morvan, 65 km southeast of Nevers.

  • By car: Via the D978 from Nevers or the D978 from Autun.
  • By train: Nevers or Autun station, then a 1-hour drive.

Start and finish at the MO2 base, Château-Chinon.

The Morvan Oxygen Trail is a major sporting event that brings together trail running and nature race enthusiasts every end of June in the magnificent setting of the Morvan Regional Natural Park. Starting from Château-Chinon, the capital of Morvan, runners set off on forest trails, ridge paths, and woodland tracks offering breathtaking landscapes.
