Moulins en Scène: The Music Festival of Moulins-Engilbert

Every summer in July, the town of Moulins-Engilbert, nestled in the south of the Nivernais Morvan, vibrates to the rhythm of Moulins en Scène, its open-air music festival. Organized by the association Les Copains d'Abord, this annual musical event is a highlight of the summer in the south of Nièvre.

An Evening of Open-Air Concerts

The festival takes place over one evening, from 7 PM to 2 AM, at the Moulins-Engilbert municipal stadium. Three bands perform on stage to offer the audience an eclectic and festive program: rock, French chanson, reggae, ska, world music... Each edition promises musical discoveries and nationally renowned artists.

Quality Artists

Over the years, Moulins en Scène has hosted renowned artists from the French music scene, such as La Rue Kétanou, La Ruda Salska, Soa Bomba, and many others, offering the audience of the southern Morvan high-quality concerts in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

A Friendly Festival

Moulins en Scène cultivates a friendly and festive atmosphere. Bar and catering are available on-site, and the open-air setting, against the backdrop of the Morvan countryside, gives this evening a special charm. The municipal campsite nearby facilitates festival-goer accommodation.

A Dynamic Associative Project

Driven by the association Les Copains d'Abord and its volunteers, the festival demonstrates the associative dynamism of Moulins-Engilbert, a town that also hosts other cultural events such as the No Mad Festival and La Ronde des Arts en Morvan.

Spectators enjoy an unobstructed view of the stage with the green hills of the Morvan in the background.
