Free concerts throughout the city on June 21, 2026, with the free Nuits Carrées evening
Every June 21st, Antibes Juan-les-Pins celebrates the arrival of summer with the Fête de la Musique: music freely takes over the streets of the old town, lively squares, and the Pré des Pêcheurs esplanade. In 2026, the Nuits Carrées festival offers a fourth entirely free evening on June 21st for its 20th anniversary, concluding its anniversary edition. The day is entirely free and mixes all styles, from brass bands to rap, from jazz to pop.
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Antibes Juan-les-Pins into an open-air stage every June 21st. On the occasion of the summer solstice, amateurs and professional artists play for free in public spaces, from mid-afternoon until the heart of the night, in all genres and for all audiences.
Usually, music unfolds in the historic heart of Antibes and its squares: the kiosk of Place Nationale, Place du Safranier, the Cathedral forecourt, Place Mariejol, Jardin des Poètes, and the Pré des Pêcheurs esplanade host brass bands, jazz groups paying homage to the tradition of Juan, gospel and variety choirs, rock and pop groups, as well as classical musicians in courtyards and gardens. Bars and restaurants extend the celebration into the evening.
For its 20th anniversary, the Nuits Carrées festival takes place from June 18 to 21, 2026, on the Pré des Pêcheurs esplanade and adds, on June 21st, an additional entirely free evening to celebrate the Fête de la Musique. This evening, open to all, highlights artists from the region.
The Fête de la Musique 2026 in Antibes will take place on Sunday, June 21, free of charge throughout the city. A highlight of this edition: the free Nuits Carrées evening on the Esplanade du Pré des Pêcheurs, which concludes the festival's 20th anniversary with regional artists.
On June 21, 2026, music will freely animate the old town and the central squares of Antibes, culminating in the free Nuits Carrées evening.
For its 20th anniversary, the Nuits Carrées festival (June 18-21, 2026) offers a fourth entirely free evening on June 21, open to all, featuring regional artists: Boom Brass (brass band), Killian Alaari (rap), Yass Sogo (rap), Afrasonic y El G.P.O and More Amour (pop-rock).
As every year, fanfares and brass bands will stroll through the streets, jazz groups will pay tribute to the tradition of Juan, gospel and variety choirs will animate the squares, while rock and pop groups and classical musicians will take over bars, courtyards, and gardens. The usual festive locations: the kiosk in Place Nationale, Place du Safranier, the Cathedral forecourt, Place Mariejol, and the Jardin des Poètes.
