The 2026 Fête de la Musique in Arras takes place on Sunday, June 21st, from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with free events throughout the city center. The day kicks off with a children's music festival from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The courtyard of the Pas-de-Calais prefecture will host ARRATOM, K-pop demonstrations, the Arras Wind Orchestra, and the UMCA from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, while stages at the Place des Héros, the Grand’Place, and the pedestrian streets take over late into the evening.

The City of Arras has organized the day into two parts: a morning and early afternoon dedicated to children, followed by a program open to everyone until late at night. All stages are free to access.

Practical Information
- When: Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Where: Throughout Arras city center — place des Héros, Grand’Place, place d’Ipswich, place Verlaine, place du Théâtre, place de la Vacquerie, place Adolphe Lenglet and surrounding pedestrian streets, as well as the courtyard of the Pas-de-Calais prefecture.
- Price: Free admission to all stages.
- Parking: Free parking is available (see the official City of Arras map); parking is free in the Grand’Place and Centre Européen underground car parks from Saturday at 12 p.m. until Sunday at 7 a.m.
- Traffic: Many streets and squares in the city center will be closed to traffic and parking from June 21 at 2 p.m. to June 22 at 1 a.m. (place des Héros, Grand’Place, place d’Ipswich, place du Théâtre, place de la Vacquerie, place Adolphe Lenglet, rue Ernestale, rue Léon Gambetta, rue Saint-Aubert…), and any vehicle in violation is subject to towing. The right half of place Verlaine is closed on June 21 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Bus: Detours will be in place on the Artis network starting at 2 p.m. on June 21.

Fête de la Musique in Arras
Like everywhere else in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique turns Arras into an open-air stage every June 21. Music fills public spaces for free, from mid-morning until late at night, featuring every genre for every audience.
A two-part day
The City of Arras opens the day at 11 a.m. with a Children's Fête de la Musique: until 4 p.m., various activities and workshops set up in the city center highlight young talent and introduce the little ones to playing music. The main program, open to all, then takes over until 11 p.m.
Stages throughout the heart of the city
Stages are spread across the pedestrian historic center: place des Héros, Grand’Place, place d’Ipswich, place Verlaine, place du Théâtre, place de la Vacquerie, place Adolphe Lenglet, place des États d’Artois, and surrounding shopping streets, as well as the courtyard of the Pas-de-Calais prefecture, which is opened to the public for the occasion. The official map categorizes stages by musical style: pop, rock, alternative rock, pop-rock, variety, rap/RnB, dance, brass bands, electro, DJs, choirs, and traditional music.
How to participate
