About Music Festival in Belley
Every June 21, Belley celebrates the Fête de la Musique (Music Festival): amateur musicians, established groups, and conservatory students play for free in the streets and squares of the city center. Organized by the City of Belley, the evening is entirely free and open to all, in a festive and friendly atmosphere.

As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Belley, sub-prefecture of Bugey in Ain, into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces in the evening, across all genres and for all audiences.

Usually, several stages and entertainment points are spread throughout Belley's historic heart: rue de la République, place des Terreaux, boulevard de Verdun, Grande Rue, and rue Saint-Martin host open-air concerts and activities. You'll find amateur and established groups as well as students from the Belley conservatory, performing in various musical styles.
