Free concerts in the city center on Saturday, June 20, 2026
In Carquefou, the Fête de la Musique takes over the city center on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Amateur musicians, students from the municipal music school, and local partners take turns on stages set up in the streets and squares, mixing spontaneous concerts with those coordinated by the City. The evening is entirely free and the city center is given over to pedestrians.
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the center of Carquefou into an open-air stage every summer. The City coordinates the event and welcomes amateur musicians, local groups, and students from the municipal music school for a festive evening open to all and to all styles.
For one evening, Carquefou city center is pedestrianized: streets and squares are transformed into numerous concert venues, with stages coordinated by the City and spontaneous initiatives from musicians, socio-cultural structures, and private partners. Open-air concerts, a friendly atmosphere, and musical diversity set the rhythm for the night.
