For the Fête de la Musique, the city of La Madeleine (Nord), in the European Metropolis of Lille, offers a program of free musical entertainment for all ages: concert by the La Madeleine choir Axone and concert by Red Banjo at the Malraux hall, brass band parade in Malraux park, musical games and concert at the media library. The street also gets into the music spirit with terrace and open-air concerts.
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique celebrates the arrival of summer and offers everyone a great day of free concerts. In La Madeleine, a city in the European Metropolis of Lille, the municipality organizes a program of musical entertainment accessible to all generations, complemented by spontaneous concerts from bars, terraces, and musicians in the streets.
The festivities are concentrated around the André-Malraux hall and Malraux park, rue Guynemer, as well as at the municipal media library. You can hear the La Madeleine choir Axone, the multi-instrumentalist musician Red Banjo, and the drum and brass band of Compagnie La Roulette Ruche, in a family-friendly and convivial atmosphere. Children are not forgotten, with musical games and activities specially designed for them.
