As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique is one of the major popular summer events in Les Mureaux. The town offers a free musical evening open to all, which musically concludes a day of festivities in the Bècheville district.
A great evening at Parc du Sautour
The heart of the celebration beats at Parc du Sautour, which transforms into a true open-air stage. The evening combines participatory activities, performances by local talents, a live show, and a DJ set to get the public dancing until 1 AM. Food trucks are set up on site for refreshments throughout the event.
This musical evening extends the "F(ai)tes du Sport" sports afternoon organized on the same day in the park and at Cosec Pablo-Neruda, for a complete day combining sport, conviviality, and music.
A shared celebration in the town
Around this evening, the Fête de la Musique also takes place in other locations in the commune. The Les Mureaux association Porte d'Espérance notably offers an open-air gospel concert, with free access, on avenue de la République. The Conservatoire Gabriel-Fauré also celebrates music with its students and teachers.
