The Fête de la Musique in Mantes-la-Jolie

As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique is one of the great popular summer events. In Mantes-la-Jolie, the City organizes a major concert evening each year, free and open to all audiences. In 2026, the event will be held on Saturday, June 20, the day before the national date of June 21.

A big concert at Parc des Expositions Michel-Sevin

For the 2026 edition, the celebration takes place at the Parc des Expositions Michel-Sevin, on Île l'Aumône. Doors open at 6 PM for an evening that combines national headliners, local talents, community demonstrations, and world cuisine. The lineup features Youssoupha, a Franco-Congolese rapper on tour after his album Amour Suprême, and DJ Bens, a figure of the urban scene followed by over two million subscribers.

As an opening act, the evening highlights two local artists: Samsara.W, originally from Mantes-la-Jolie, who blends modern soul with world influences, and Low Jay, a singer-songwriter with R&B, afro, and rap sounds.

Activities and world flavors

Between concerts, five Mantes associations bring the evening to life through dance demonstrations, percussion, cultural traditions, and artisanal sales: Danza Ya, Les Flamboyants des îles, le Groupe Magyar, l'AAGMR, and Akwaba. For dining, thirteen downtown merchants offer dishes from around the world.
