Every June 21, Romans-sur-Isère celebrates the Fête de la Musique: amateur musicians, conservatory students, and artists freely take over the streets, squares, and cultural venues of the shoe city. At the heart of the celebration, La Cordo, Romans' music city, opens its doors for an evening dedicated to sharing. The event is entirely free and open to all.

As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms Romans-sur-Isère into an open-air stage every June 21. On the occasion of the summer solstice, music freely takes over public spaces in all its forms, from early evening until late at night, across all genres and for all audiences.

The evening is centered around La Cordo, Romans' music city, which offers concerts and discoveries in partnership with the Conservatoire Valence Romans Agglo.
