Les Musicales en Tricastin: experience classical music in Drôme provençale

Since 2005, the association Divertimento, created to promote classical music, has been organizing Les Musicales en Tricastin. This summer festival invites internationally renowned artists each year to perform in the enchanting setting of Tricastin, between historical heritage and Provençal landscapes.

Exceptional Venues

The festival takes place in two emblematic locations in Southern Drôme Provence:

• The Salle Fontaine in Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux, a modern performance hall that can accommodate nearly 800 spectators, offering remarkable acoustics for classical music.
• The courtyard of the Château de Suze-la-Rousse, a majestic historical setting that lends a magical atmosphere to summer musical evenings.

A Week of Prestigious Classical Music

For one week in July, every evening, Les Musicales en Tricastin presents concerts featuring prestigious works and great composers. The program includes lyrical recitals, chamber music, symphonic concerts, and solo performances. Over the years, the festival has featured memorable interpretations, such as Beethoven's 7th Symphony and numerous lyrical recitals.

A Festival Rooted in its Territory

Les Musicales en Tricastin contributes to the cultural influence of Drôme Sud Provence by combining excellent classical music and local heritage. The festival benefits from the support of the Drôme Sud Provence tourist offices for ticketing and promotion.
