Techno parties at Warehouse with a 360° Boiler Room style stage
Nantes Rave Techno (NRT) is a series of techno parties organized at Warehouse, on the Île de Nantes, since 2022. The concept is based on supporting local artists and collectives, inviting an international headliner, and exclusive scenography with a 360° Boiler Room style stage. Among the invited artists: I Hate Models, Shlømo, SNTS, Trym, Nico Moreno, Sara Landry, or Vladimir Cauchemar. Over 70 artists have participated in the various editions.
Launched in 2022, Nantes Rave Techno (NRT) has quickly established itself as one of the major techno events in Western France. Organized at the Warehouse, a concert venue and cultural club located in the heart of the Île de Nantes on the Quai des Antilles, this series of parties champions a demanding vision of electronic music, blending hard techno, acid, industrial techno, and trance.
The hallmark of Nantes Rave Techno is its exclusive scenography: a 360° stage set up in the center of the Warehouse's main room, placing the audience as close as possible to the artists in a setup inspired by the famous Boiler Room format. This immersive setup, where the artist is surrounded by the audience on all sides, creates an intense and unifying atmosphere that sets NRT apart from other techno parties.
Beyond booking international headliners, Nantes Rave Techno places the support for local artists and collectives at the core of its project. Each edition features DJs and producers from the Nantes electronic scene through unique B2B sets. Among the collectives represented over the seasons: Bloom, La Bergerie, Invasion Nantaise, Boreal, Mauve, La Bringue, Hotline, and many others. This approach allows emerging talents to share the stage with world-renowned artists.
Since its creation, Nantes Rave Techno has hosted over 70 artists, including some of the most prestigious names in the global techno scene:
Each season, Nantes Rave Techno organizes a special edition called "Festival", usually scheduled in June. This flagship event is designed as a thank you to the collectives that have supported the concept throughout the year. The NRT 2024 Festival, held on June 14, 2024, featured Parfait, Eczodia, Jaëss & The Robots alongside local collectives like Bloom and La Bergerie.
Nantes Rave Techno also offers XXL editions, exceptional large-scale events with major headliners. The XXL edition on March 6, 2026, featured Nico Moreno and Peterblue with programming across two rooms. The XXL edition on April 17, 2026, will showcase I Hate Models and BOTL.
The Warehouse, opened in September 2017, is a concert venue and cultural club located at 21 quai des Antilles, in the Hangar à Bananes district on the Île de Nantes. Ranked among the best clubs in France and the world by Resident Advisor, the Warehouse offers an ideal setting for Nantes Rave Techno parties: two rooms, a powerful sound system, and a capacity suited for large-scale events. The venue is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility and adheres to the Safe Place initiative.
The Nantes Rave Techno XXL edition on April 17, 2026, will feature I Hate Models, founder of the Disco Inferno label and a key figure in European techno, accompanied by BOTL, a rising force in hard techno. Programming in two rooms with the 360° Boiler Room stage at Warehouse, from 11:59 PM to 6:30 AM.
