The largest nature fair in the Tours metropolitan area

Every year in April, the Domaine de Cangé in Saint-Avertin hosts Nature en Fête, one of the most important events dedicated to nature and gardening in the Tours metropolitan area. With 15,000 visitors and 150 stands, this spring fair has become a must-attend event for gardening enthusiasts, lovers of rare plants, and all nature lovers.

A market for rare and seasonal plants

The heart of Nature en Fête is its vast plant market. Specialized nurseries, horticulturists, and producers offer an exceptional selection of rare plants, perennials, shrubs, old roses, aromatic and medicinal plants, heirloom vegetables, and organic seeds. Seasonal flowers bring color and fragrance to the estate's paths, while stands for garden decorations, pottery, tools, and outdoor furniture complete the offering.

Gourmet market and wellness area

Beyond plants, Nature en Fête offers an organic gourmet market with local producers presenting honey, jams, essential oils, artisanal soaps, spices, and regional specialties. A wellness area allows visitors to discover natural treatments, organic cosmetic products, and advice on aromatherapy and phytotherapy.

Activities for the whole family

Nature en Fête is a resolutely family-friendly event. Children can enjoy activities specially designed for them: discovery of rescue dogs, care for ponies, a carousel, duck fishing, a fun palace, and balloon sculpting. Shows and parades punctuate the weekend with mascots, the Scénoféerie de Semblançay, and the show Cab'Art et Show. Educational workshops on composting, beneficial insects, and natural gardening complete the program.

The Domaine de Cangé, a green setting

The Domaine de Cangé, a magnificent 14-hectare wooded park on the banks of the Cher river, offers an ideal setting for this event. The shaded paths, vast lawns, and 19th-century château create a peaceful and bucolic atmosphere, conducive to strolling and discovery. The event is organized by the Comité des Fêtes de Saint-Avertin in partnership with the City.
