Ndadje African Festival
A celebration of Senegalese culture in Barsac, Gironde
2026
About Ndadje African Festival
Every year in late September, the Festival Africain Ndadje brings the community of Barsac together to celebrate Senegalese culture. Organised by the Amitié Barsac Sénégal association since 2011, the two-day event features a vibrant mix of dance, music, art, and gastronomy, alongside an artisan market and activities for children. All proceeds go towards improving educational facilities at the school in the village of Sekhela Djarga, located in the Saloum region of Senegal.
