Summer cultural program throughout Gironde
Les Scènes d'été en Gironde is a summer cultural program supported by the Gironde Department. Every year, from June to September, touring shows and labeled festivals are deployed in over 150 municipalities of the department: music, theater, dance, circus, and street arts take over villages, public squares, gardens, and heritage sites.
The initiative aims to make culture accessible to everyone, including in the smallest municipalities, thanks to financial support from the Department, adjusted according to the size of the communities.
Les Scènes d'Été en Gironde is a flagship event of the Girondin cultural life. Organized in Bordeaux, it offers a diverse program that combines artistic discoveries and moments of conviviality in a unique setting.
Each edition offers shows, concerts, exhibitions, and meetings that make this festival so rich. The program is designed to satisfy a varied audience, from enthusiasts to curious newcomers.
The festival maintains a strong link with its territory. The performance venues, local partnerships, and the involvement of volunteers testify to this anchoring which makes the event's strength and authenticity.
Beyond the artistic program, Les Scènes d'Été en Gironde is a place for meeting and sharing where artists, residents, and visitors mingle in a warm and festive atmosphere.
