A Castle Transformed into an Enchanted Christmas Village

Every late November, the Château de Thury-Harcourt-le-Hom transforms into a true enchanted Christmas village. In the heart of Suisse Normande, this magical event invites young and old to immerse themselves in the magic of the holiday season. Organized by Suisse Normande Tourisme with the support of the municipality of Thury-Harcourt-le-Hom, Noël au Château has become a must-attend event in Calvados.

A Country Honored Each Year

The originality of Noël au Château lies in its annual theme that highlights a country. In 2024, it was Canada that was celebrated, with activities centered around Canadian traditions and the start of the festivities with a grand lantern parade accompanied by sled dogs. In 2025, Switzerland is honored, a country of mountains, chalets, and chocolate, for a weekend dedicated to Swiss magic and traditions.

Christmas Market and Magical Activities

The Christmas market brings together artisans and producers offering winter flavors and artisanal creations. Visitors can enjoy an outdoor ice rink for the whole family, various shows and activities, festive evening concerts, and a Christmas tree sale. The festivities begin on Friday evening at 6:30 PM with a friendly atmosphere and continue throughout the weekend.

Concerts and Festive Evenings

The evenings of Noël au Château are punctuated by free concerts in front of the castle. In 2025, the group Fauss'Airs, specializing in French chanson, will perform on Friday evening, creating a warm atmosphere in the illuminated setting of the castle. Other shows and musical activities will complete the program throughout the weekend.

Noël au Château — edition 2026

Noël au Château returns in late November 2026 to the Thury-Harcourt castle. New country in the spotlight, Christmas market, ice rink, concerts, and magical activities planned.

Noël au Château 2026

Noël au Château returns in late November 2026 to the Thury-Harcourt castle for a new magical edition. A new country will be honored, with a Christmas market, ice rink, concerts, and activities for the whole family. Detailed program and theme to be announced.
