Nuits Musicales en Armagnac: 55 years of music and heritage
The Nuits Musicales en Armagnac were born in 1968 on the initiative of André Clarac, a self-taught choirmaster who led the Ensemble Vocal de l'Armagnac. The first edition was held at the Abbaye de Flaran, and since then, the festival has continued to grow to become one of the oldest and most respected in the Occitanie region.
Exceptional venues
The festival takes place in the most beautiful heritage sites of the Gers: the ramparts of Lectoure, the cathedral of Condom, the church of Terraube, the Château de Lavardens and the Abbaye de Flaran. These spaces offer remarkable acoustics and a unique setting to appreciate classical music, opera, and contemporary creations.
A rich and diverse program
The program brings together the great names of international classical music and young talents. The Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, dancers from the Opéra de Paris, and numerous renowned soloists have performed in previous editions. The festival also offers opera creations, jazz concerts, and lyrical performances.
Workshops and encounters
Workshops around music and opera allow the public to discover the backstage of musical creation. Encounters with artists are organized after the concerts.

58th edition of the Nuits Musicales en Armagnac, from July 19 to August 8, 2026: the major classical event of the Gers summer, featuring baroque, lyrical, and jazz music, in the heritage sites of Gers in Lectoure and its surroundings.
Nuits Musicales en Armagnac 2026
The 58th edition takes place from July 19 to August 8, 2026. For almost 60 years, the festival has celebrated lyrical art in all its forms: from the greatest masterpieces to intimate formats, from baroque music to jazz, with workshops for budding artists and concerts by major international artists.
Concerts are held in the heritage sites of the Gers (Jardin des Marronniers and churches of Lectoure, sites in the Gers region).
