The short film festival in the heart of Morvan
Created in 2008 by the association Sceni Qua Non, Partie(s) de Campagne is the short film festival of Ouroux-en-Morvan, a small village of 600 inhabitants nestled in the heart of the Morvan Regional Natural Park. For four days in July, this festival offers a short film competition, cine-concerts, open-air screenings, documentaries, directing workshops, youth screenings, and concerts under a marquee. Since 2018, the festival has had the CLAP, a 61-seat cinema, making Ouroux a unique rural cinema destination.
Since 2008, the Partie(s) de Campagne festival has transformed the small village of Ouroux-en-Morvan into a true capital of short films. Supported by the association Sceni Qua Non, active in rural cinema since 1984, this unique festival proves that you don't need a big city to have powerful and original cinematic experiences.
The heart of the festival is its short film competition, which each year brings together a discerning selection of films from France and around the world. Fiction, animation, documentary, experimental film: all genres are represented, offering a rich panorama of contemporary short-form creation. A jury awards prizes for the best works presented.
Around the competition, the program unfolds in multiple directions: cine-concerts mixing live music and projection, open-air cinema under the Morvan stars, documentary screenings, directing workshops open to amateurs, and youth screenings to introduce the youngest to the 7th art.
Since 2018, Ouroux-en-Morvan has had the CLAP, a 61-seat cinema located in the heart of the village. This unique infrastructure for a town of this size allows the festival to offer screenings with professional technical conditions, while also hosting cinema sessions throughout the year. The CLAP symbolizes Sceni Qua Non's deep territorial roots and its commitment to making cinema accessible to rural populations.
Every evening, a marquee set up in the heart of the village hosts concerts that extend the screenings in a festive atmosphere. The musical programming, as eclectic as the film selection, mixes rock, traditional music, hip-hop, electro, and world music. Shared meals, discussions between directors and spectators, and the warm atmosphere of the Morvan make each edition an unforgettable moment of sharing and discovery.
The Partie(s) de Campagne festival returns in July 2026 to Ouroux-en-Morvan for a new edition of short films, cine-concerts, and festivities in the heart of Morvan.
