About Pornic Nautical Festival
Every year in early September, the Pornic Nautical Festival brings together the town's sailing clubs and associations at the Port de la Noëveillard. Visitors can enjoy free introductory sessions in sailing, rowing, paddleboarding, kayaking, wingfoiling, and sea rescue, all open to everyone. Organized by the City of Pornic, the event celebrates the deep connection between the town and the ocean through demonstrations, meetings with elite athletes, and festive gatherings.
Pornic Nautical Festival — edition 2026
The 5th edition takes place from September 4th to 6th, 2026, at the Port de la Noëveillard, with Charline Picon and Émile Amoros as patrons. The nautical village offers free introductory sessions in sailing, paddleboarding, kayaking, rowing, and wingfoiling, alongside sea rescue demonstrations by the SNSM. A charity paddle rally in support of the SNSM highlights Sunday's events, which also feature live music and an awards ceremony.

- Free introductory sessions: sailing, paddleboarding, kayaking, rowing, foil, adaptive sailing, and fishing, hosted by nearly forty clubs and associations

- Concert by the band Fire Roots
Sunday, September 6th, 2026
- 11:00 AM — Nautical village opens · Port de la Noëveillard
- Beach cleanup organized by the Surfrider Foundation
- Charity paddle rally, 2.5 km, €5 in aid of the SNSM
- Nautical workshops and boat tours

Practical information — Pornic Nautical Festival
Free access to the nautical village. Group sailing sessions are open to children aged 7 and up, and require a swimming certificate. Accessible facilities for people with reduced mobility are available via the Kaidoz program. Port de la Noëveillard, Pornic (44210).
Hosted by the City of Pornic, the festival gathers nearly forty local nautical clubs and associations at the Port de la Noëveillard. Each edition combines free taster sessions and sporting demonstrations with awareness-raising activities focused on marine conservation, supported by the SNSM and the Surfrider Foundation.
