Relâche, the soundtrack to the Bordeaux summer
The Relâche Festival is a must-see event of the Bordeaux summer. Supported by the association Allez Les Filles (ADMAA), it transforms the squares, parks, and urban spaces of Bordeaux into free concert stages for over a month each summer.
An eclectic program
The festival's program covers a wide musical spectrum: rock, electro, blues, gospel, reggae, garage, punk, soul, and world music. Each edition mixes local, national, and international artists, with a particular focus on discoveries and emerging scenes.
Concerts in the city
The concerts take place in various emblematic locations in Bordeaux: squares, parks, and public spaces. This musical geography allows for a rediscovery of the city from a festive and cultural perspective.
A popular and free festival
With around 40 free concerts and nearly 80,000 spectators each summer, Relâche is one of the most important free festivals in the Bordeaux metropolitan area.
