Running and Dancing: A Unique Concept in France

Run&Fest was born from the imagination of three enthusiasts — Mathis, an endurance athlete and coach, Fabien and Mathieu, entrepreneurs — united by the belief that running and partying share the same spirit: pushing personal limits and collective communion. This first marathon-festival in France takes place in Mâcon, Antoine Griezmann's hometown, in the heart of the Burgundy wine region.

Saturday: The Party is in Full Swing

On Saturday, May 23rd, the festival village opens its doors at 2 PM at the Antoine Griezmann sports complex. Live concerts, artistic performances, and a food court will liven up the afternoon and evening. The highlight: Kavinsky's DJ set at 11 PM, an iconic figure of the international electro scene and official DJ for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Artists Jude, DJ Sonik, Moarasia, Swave, and Tigarah complete a resolutely dance-oriented lineup.

Sunday: The Mâconnais Strides

Sunday, May 24th is dedicated to running with three formats suitable for all levels: marathon (start 8 AM), half-marathon (start 10 AM), and 10k (start 12 PM). The courses wind through the vineyards and rolling landscapes of the Mâconnais, offering an exceptional setting for the runners. A unique challenge is also on the program: an attempt at the French record for treadmill running for 24 hours, launched by Mathis on Saturday at 5 PM.

An Event Rooted in the Territory

With a start from the Esplanade Lamartine and an arrival at the Antoine Griezmann sports complex, Run&Fest showcases the assets of Mâcon and its region. 12,000 participants are expected over the weekend, between Saturday festival-goers and Sunday runners. The event is organized by Agence Bis'Art and benefits from the support of local authorities.
