About Saveurs & Savoirs Festival

Every autumn, Uzès transforms its charming streets into an open-air tasting room where chefs, authors, and producers gather to celebrate the art of cooking—both as a craft and a story. The festival was founded by the Librairie aux Herbes, located in the town's iconic square, with the support of food journalist François-Régis Gaudry.

The weekend is packed with conferences, chef demonstrations, tastings, book signings, an amateur meatball competition, and a culinary-themed dictation, held across various venues including L'Ombrière, Le Capitole cinema, the local library, and partner restaurants throughout the town.

Thursday, October 8th, 2026

  • Festival opening, featuring a headline chef yet to be announced by the organizers

Friday, October 9th, 2026

  • Guest appearances by Hélène Darroze and Olivier Roellinger
  • Demonstrations and tastings at La Loggia
  • Book signings and meet-and-greets centered around the festival's literary prize

Saturday, October 10th and Sunday, October 11th, 2026

  • Producers' market at Place aux Herbes
  • Amateur meatball competition, including a junior version at the Lou-Redounet school
  • Culinary dictation
  • Travel cake competition, a 2026 novelty in partnership with the Sud de France brand
  • Tastings featuring Comté, the culinary partner for this year's edition
  • Screenings and discussions at Le Capitole cinema
  • Festival dinners at participating restaurants in Uzès
  • Sunday, October 11th — closing event with Cyril Lignac

Single tickets: 8 to 10 €. Festival dinners: 45 to 80 €. Free for children under 15.
