A solidarity music festival for the fight against AIDS
Founded in 1999 by Luc Barruet and the association Solidarité Sida, Solidays was born from a bold idea: to use the unifying power of music to mobilize youth in the fight against HIV/AIDS. During this historic first edition, Iggy Pop, Robbie Williams, and Youssou N'Dour inaugurated a festival that would become one of the largest musical and solidarity events in France, already attracting 52,000 people.
Since then, Solidays has continued to grow, establishing itself as a must-attend event on the French festival scene. Located on the lawns of the Hippodrome de Paris-Longchamp, in the prestigious setting of the Bois de Boulogne, the festival now welcomes over 200,000 festival-goers over three days, with a program featuring more than 80 artists on several stages.
Solidays' programming reflects the diversity of the contemporary music scene. From rap to reggae, from electro to pop, from rock to French chanson, the festival offers a complete panorama of current music. Over the years, Solidays has hosted major artists on its stages such as Stromae, IAM, Manu Chao, Lomepal, Orelsan, Angèle, MC Solaar, Sean Paul, Damso, and Gims.
The festival is distinguished by its commitment to offering affordable prices, with 3-day passes starting at €39 during the first sales, making the event accessible to the greatest number, in line with its values of solidarity and inclusion.
Solidays is not a festival that adds a charitable dimension to its musical program: solidarity is in its DNA. All profits are donated to Solidarité Sida to fund prevention and support programs for people living with HIV in France and internationally.
At the heart of the festival, the Solidarity Village brings together around a hundred French and international associations committed to various themes: human rights, health, the fight against poverty, the environment, disability, and exclusion. Conferences, debates, exhibitions, and prevention workshops punctuate these three days of collective mobilization.
Beyond music and solidarity, Solidays is a place for civic expression where festival-goers can get informed, debate, and get involved. The festival offers free testing areas, health prevention stands, and conferences on major societal issues. This participatory dimension makes Solidays a unique event on the French festival scene, where celebration and engagement mutually nourish each other.
The 27th edition of Solidays takes place from June 26 to 28, 2026, at the Hippodrome de Paris-Longchamp. Organized since 1999 by the Solidarité Sida association, the festival annually gathers over 200,000 festival-goers around an eclectic program (rap, pop, electro, reggae, rock) and a commitment to solidarity against HIV/AIDS. Headliners for 2026: Orelsan, Gims, Zara Larsson, Bigflo & Oli, Major Lazer, Vald, Gazo, and many others.
Solidays returns for its 27th edition from Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28, 2026, on the lawns of the Hippodrome de Paris-Longchamp, in the Bois de Boulogne. More than just a music festival, Solidays is a public interest solidarity event whose profits are donated to the Solidarité Sida association for the fight against HIV/AIDS and the defense of human rights.
Beyond the concerts spread across the site's multiple stages, the festival annually offers its traditional Associations Village, sexual health and prevention areas, conferences and debates (the Social Club), as well as exhibitions. The festival is supported by thousands of volunteers mobilized every summer.
The 2026 edition brings together over sixty French and international artists, mixing major rap and pop headliners (Orelsan, Gims, Zara Larsson, Bigflo & Oli), electro stars (Major Lazer, Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, I Hate Models, Nico Moreno), and emerging artists. Ticketing, open since December 13, 2025, operates on successive price tiers.
