About Danse de Mansle
An international dance event in Charente
Since 1988, the Stage International de Danse de Mansle has been a must-attend event for dance lovers in Charente. Created by Nanette Lavaud, founder of the Mansle Danse Association, this event brings together dancers from all over France and abroad each summer for a week of intensive classes in a friendly atmosphere.
Classes for all levels and all styles
The workshop offers classes in classical dance, modern jazz, contemporary, street jazz, and hip-hop, adapted for all levels: beginners, amateurs, children, and pre-professionals. The classes are taught by internationally renowned instructors who share their passion and expertise throughout the week.
A closing gala
The workshop culminates in a dance gala presented on Friday evening, where participants take to the stage to showcase the results of their week's work to an enthusiastic audience. This moment of sharing and emotion is the highlight of the event.
Danse de Mansle — edition 2026
The Mansle International Dance Workshop returns from July 19 to 24, 2026, in Mansle (Charente), for a week of intensive courses open to all levels, from beginner dancers to pre-professionals. Modern jazz, classical dance, contemporary, street jazz, and hip-hop are on the program, led by internationally renowned teachers.
Mansle International Dance Workshop 2026
From July 19 to 24, 2026, the Mansle Danse association organizes the new edition of its international dance workshop in Mansle, on the banks of the Charente. Recognized for over 30 years for the quality of its teaching and the seriousness of its welcome, this six-day workshop brings together amateur and pre-professional dancers of all levels (beginners, intermediate, advanced) every summer.
Disciplines Taught
The courses cover all major disciplines: classical dance, modern jazz, contemporary, street jazz, and hip-hop.

The announced teaching team includes, for classical (special Opéra de Bordeaux), Diane Le Floc'h, Neven Ritmanic, and Marion Rouffaud; for modern jazz, Carl Portal and Quentin Laporte; for contemporary, Mario Glez, Christian Denice, Jason Mabana, and Evelien Jansen; for modern, Andreas Lauck and Swann Gougeon, as well as Dylan Pearce.
