Tango par la Côte — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Tango par la Côte Festival in Finistère takes place from Wednesday, July 29 to Sunday, August 2, 2026, between Roscoff and Saint-Thégonnec. On the program: 40 hours of dance suspended between sky and sea, workshops led by internationally renowned maestros (Stéphanie Fesneau & Fausto Carpino, Ornella Simonetto & Juan David Vargas, finalists of the Mundial de Buenos Aires) and milongas animated by the orchestras Hyperion, Sonder and Duo Crioyazo.
2026 Edition between Roscoff and Saint-Thégonnec
Organized by the Tango à la Mer association, the 2026 edition offers workshops, milongas, and dance evenings distributed between the Espace Mathurin-Méheut in Roscoff (reception and workshops) and the salle des fêtes de Saint-Thégonnec (milongas and workshops).
Guest Maestros
- Stéphanie Fesneau & Fausto Carpino — international educators and DJs, partners since 2011, they have taught in Warsaw, Paris, and Florence and advocate a «natural and logical» approach to tango technique.
- Ornella Simonetto & Juan David Vargas — Vargas, originally from Cali (Colombia), is a 12-time Colombian champion and a multiple finalist of the Mundial de Tango de Buenos Aires; Simonetto is also a DJ.
Orchestras & DJs
- Hyperion — ensemble active since 1992, over 1,400 concerts, album La Ultima Copa (2025).
- Sonder — orchestra founded in 2019 by Melody Quinteros (violin) and Nicolas Maceratesi (bandoneon).
- Duo Crioyazo — Nico el Tipico & Juan Camera, blending Argentinian folklore and French song.
- DJs: Vivi la Falce, Olivier, Gabriel Sodini, Damiàn di Boggio, Bruno Vandenabeele.
Sunday concludes with a Despedida at Espace Mathurin-Méheut (free access). An exhibition by Jacques de Kerdrel on Argentinian tango is presented at the lifeboat gallery during the festival.

Access
Roscoff is accessible by car via the N12 then the D58. The town is located about 60 km from Brest and 30 km from Morlaix. Free parking is available in town.
Public Transport
The nearest SNCF train station is Morlaix, 30 km away. Bus connections allow you to reach Roscoff from Morlaix. Roscoff also has a ferry port with connections to Ireland and England.

Roscoff and its surroundings offer numerous accommodation options: hotels, bed and breakfasts, seasonal rentals, and campsites. It is recommended to book in advance during the festival period.
