The gastronomic festival of great chefs under the glass roof of the Grand Palais
Created in 2015, Taste of Paris is the unmissable gastronomic event in the French capital. Every year in May, for four days, the Grand Palais is transformed into a temple of gastronomy where nearly fifty chefs — Michelin-starred, emerging talents, and renowned pastry chefs — set up ephemeral restaurants under the monumental nave. Exclusive tastings, live culinary demonstrations, meetings with producers, masterclasses, and concerts make Taste of Paris a unique sensory experience, at the crossroads of haute gastronomy and popular celebration.
Taste of Paris was born in 2015, a Parisian offshoot of the international Taste Festivals concept, which organizes gastronomic events in the world's major capitals (London, Milan, São Paulo, Dubai). From its very first edition, the festival has established itself as Paris's major gastronomic gathering, bringing together the biggest names in French cuisine in an exceptional setting. In a decade, Taste of Paris has become the event where haute gastronomy becomes accessible and festive.
The festival takes place at the Grand Palais, on avenue Winston-Churchill in the 8th arrondissement. Under the monumental nave, ephemeral restaurants are set up, each entrusted to a chef — a confirmed star or an emerging talent. Visitors can taste exclusive creations prepared live, at accessible prices thanks to the crown system. Around the restaurants, areas for culinary demonstrations, a market of artisanal producers, cocktail bars, and wine tasting areas complete the experience.
The 2025 edition, celebrating the 10th anniversary of Taste of Paris, was held from May 8 to 11, 2025, at the Grand Palais. Nearly fifty chefs took over the nave, including Yannick Alléno, Thierry Marx, Nina Métayer (world's best pastry chef 2024), Gordon Ramsay, Christian Le Squer, Mauro Colagreco, Philippe Conticini, Juan Arbelaez, Pierre Sang, David Toutain, and Maxime Frédéric. This anniversary edition featured an exceptional gastronomic program combining tastings, masterclasses, live concerts, and DJ sets.
The 11th edition of Taste of Paris will take place from May 21 to 24, 2026, at the Grand Palais. Four days of tastings with chefs and meetings with producers, in a festive atmosphere blending exceptional gastronomy, live music, and conviviality. The chef lineup will be announced in the spring.
Taste of Paris is distinguished by its crown system: visitors purchase crowns, which they then exchange for dishes at the ephemeral restaurants, allowing them to taste creations from several chefs during a single visit. Masterclasses offer the opportunity to learn techniques from great chefs, while the producers' market provides a chance to discover and purchase exceptional products. Evenings are enlivened by live concerts and DJ sets, creating a festive and relaxed atmosphere.
